Bob Mulholland, UBS Wealth Management Americas’ Client Advisory Group head has retired, according to a memo distributed to the firm’s 7,000 advisers.
Mulholland, who was second-in-command, will be succeeded by Brian Hull, who had been UBS’s head of strategic clients and partnerships for the U.S. wealth unit.

UBS Wealth Management Americas’ president Bob McCann in the memo said: "I am grateful to Bob for his many contributions to WMA, and for serving as one of the key members of our renewal team. Bob’s leadership has helped us establish a culture where the best managers and advisors want to come, stay, and build long, rewarding careers."
Mulholland spent most of his career at Merrill Lynch, where he began as a financial advisor in 1979. He joined UBS in 2009 from the institutional brokerage and hedge fund firm Sound Securities.
