UBS has appointed Eva Lindholm as the new head of ultra high net worth (UHNW) Europe, recruiting her from JP Morgan.
She will join UBS as of 1 May and will initially share leadership of UBS’s UHNW and Global Family Office Group (GFO) Europe with the current head, Philip Higson.
From December 2012 onwards, Lindholm will become the sole head of UBS’s UHNW Europe, while Higson will lead GFO Europe, serving UBS’s largest family office clients.
Lindholm spent 26 years at JP Morgan holding executive roles in asset and wealth management, investment banking coverage and debt capital markets.
At UBS she will work with market heads and local CEOs from her office in London, with local UHNW heads reporting jointly to her and to their respective market heads.
As co-heads of UHNW Europe, Higson and Lindholm will report to Joe Stadler, global head of UHNW, and Jakob Stott, head of wealth management Europe, at UBS.
Lindholm is a Finnish native who speaks Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish and Russian.
