UBS Wealth Management Americas has lured a team of six financial advisors from Morgan Stanley that managed nearly US$500 billion in client money.
The team, which includes Adam Thomas, Mike Hennessy, Araya Mesfin, Brandon Brown, Jansen Bailey and Julie Axley Bailey, will be based at the firm’s Atlanta office and report to UBS financial advisor Robert Tamarkin.

The team, known as Apex Group, has joined UBS from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
Prior to this, the entire team has worked at Citigroup and remained on board with the joint venture with Morgan Stanley until earlier this month.
Additionally, Thomas and Hennessy have been with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney since 2009.
