Swiss banking giant UBS has hired Brett Pickett, Lowell Strug, and Peter Kuhn for its US consumer and retail investment banking unit.

The trio joins UBS from boutique investment bank Evercore Partners, and have earlier also worked together at JP Morgan, The Wall Street Journal reported citing an internal memo.

Pickett and Strug were designated as co-heads of Evercore’s consumer retail group, and Kuhn served as a managing director with the bank.

At the same time, the Swiss group has also appointed Sumner Farren, Sara Coyle, as well as David Descoteaux.

Both Farren and Coyle most recently served at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In the new role, Coyle will serve as executive director at UBS global industrials group, while Farren will manage financial sponsors as well as corporate clients.

David Descoteaux, who joins from Lazard, will be designated as managing director at UBS’ M&A team.
