UBS Asset Management has appointed Hayden Briscoe as its new head of fixed income for Asia Pacific, effective immediately.
He will be based in Hong Kong, responsible for managing the firm’s fixed income portfolio management and business activities in the region.

Briscoe will report to UBS Asset Management global head of fixed income John Dugenske.
He joins from Alliance Bernstein where he held the role of director of Asia Pacific fixed income.
UBS Asia Pacific head of asset management Rene Buehlmann said: “We have already been managing a very broad range of strong performing Asian fixed income offerings and the addition of Hayden to our experienced team emphasizes our conviction to the asset class in the region.
"His experience in China complements our aim to be a global leader for China-related investments, in both RMB fixed income and equity offerings.”
