UBS has named Roger Naylor and Robert Karofsky as co-heads of global equities at its investment bank.
Karofsky started his career at Morgan Stanley, then joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 as head of North American equity, and most recently served as the global head of equity trading at AllianceBernstein, Bloomberg reports.

He is due to join UBS in December and will be located in New York in his new position.
Naylor, who joined UBS from the Frankfurt-based firm in September 2012, presently holds the post of head of global equity derivatives at UBS, and will be designated in his new role at the beginning of 2015.
Naylor will continue to be based in London in his new position.
The duo had earlier worked together at Deutsche Bank AG.
