Swiss investment manager Twelve Capital has opened a new office in London after receiving approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to operate as a MiFID investment firm.
The new office seeks to develop the firm’s investment and business development activities by positioning it in the key insurance trading and finance market.

The London office comprises of investment specialists and sales staff and will be headed by Twelve Capital chairman Urs Ramseier.
Ramseier said: "We want to be close to our clients, the broker community, the big insurance houses and of course Europe’s prime capital market. Moreover, we are convinced that London offers an excellent talent pool for exactly the specialists we need."
