Trowers & Hamlins has appointed specialist tax lawyer Simon Goldring as the firm’s new head of private wealth.

Goldring, who took up his new position in early June, joins Trowers from RadcliffesLeBrasseur, where he has been a partner since 2008 and the firm’s head of tax and private client since 2009.

With over 25 years of experience, Goldring’s expertise spans all facets of domestic and international private wealth and taxation, including personal and corporate tax planning, domicile and residence planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, power of attorney, probate, and corporate structuring. He has acted for a variety of clients, ranging from high net worth individuals, family offices and entrepreneurs to multi-national corporations and small businesses.

Goldring is a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners), a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians, and he has an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT).
