Towry has appointed Kate Turner to head up its advice policy team, where she will be responsible for developing it’s advice policy and managing the risks around its delivery. She will report to David Middleton, head of client proposition.
Kate joins from Coutts where she has spent 14 years in various roles, including head of tax, trusts and financial planning and head of private banking.

Prior to joining Coutts she worked for 13 years at Deloitte, latterly as director in their London Private Client Tax Group.
John Richardson, currently head of advice policy, will take on a new role of head of retirement planning and be responsible for leading this team within advice policy.
