Tilney Bestinvest has appointed Alan Edwards as its new head of investment management for England.
Edwards will be responsible for the firm’s investment management teams based in London, Liverpool and Birmingham. He will be based in Liverpool and will also join the company’s executive board.

Edwards most recently served as a managing director at Julius Baer.
Prior to that, he served as head of Barclays Wealth’s regional business in Manchester and Liverpool, as well as held senior roles at Coutts and HSBC.
