Tilney Bestinvest has appointed Neil Watson as financial planning regional director for the Midlands, including Northampton and Kettering.
Watson joined from Haines Watts Financial Services, which was acquired by Tilney Bestinvest in 2011.

Prior to this, he worked as a director for the wealth management business Rocheberie Consulting and as a private banking manager at RBS.
Also, the firm has appointed Ross Elliott as a financial planner for the Midlands, covering Bedford, Cambridge, Flitwick and Shefford, reported Fundweb.
In his new role, Elliott will report to Watson. Elliott joined Tilney Bestinvest from Natwest where he worked as a specialist financial advice manager and senior private investment manager.
The new hires will the total number of staff at the group’s financial planning team to 40.
