Prior to accepting the current role at Threadneedle, Craig was working with Aon Hewitt, where he was a senior research consultant covering asset classes such as multi-asset, diversified growth, global equity, fund of alternatives and currency.

Before that, he acted as a senior analyst for HSBC Actuaries & Consultants.

Commenting on the appointment, Threadneedle Investments multi-asset allocation head Toby Nangle said, "The recent UK pension reforms could be a game-changer for fund managers, particularly in multi-asset which provides retiring people with a viable option to invest and manage their pension pots."

"With approx. 40% of Threadneedle’s assets in some form of asset allocation mandate, we have an established and successful offering in this space.
