The ECU Group (ECU) has launched its customised Global Macro Advisory Service, which allows institutional clients and family offices to have exclusive access to ECU’s global macro investment committee.
The service aims to assist client institutions to develop a "balanced and informed" investment roadmap, with a particular focus on identifying important turning/inflexion points in economies and markets.

Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
Chaired by ECU’s CIO Michael Petley, the global macro investment committee comprises six independent members, each of whom contributes a range of specialist focal points – economics, capital flows, monetary policy, technical analysis, international politics or market intelligence. The independent members are Robin Griffiths, Professor Charles Goodhart CBE, Simon Hunt, Stephen Jen, Kit Juckes and George Magnus.
The format can be customised to individual client requirements but will typically involve quarterly sessions which will be in camera, unscripted and unrecorded.
Michael Petley, ECU’s CIO, said, "In a world of increasing regulatory oversight, ECU believes it will be ever more important for institutions to receive senior level investment advice from external sources that are truly independent, and where the insights granted could materially affect portfolio strategy and performance."
