Little also worked as an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank and worked for eight years as a UK equity fund manager at Scottish Widows.
The hire comes a few months after company’s chief executive Alex Montgomery and CIO Haig Bathgate led a management buyout (MBO) from law firm Turcan Connell.
Bathgate said: "It is incredibly encouraging to be able to attract someone of Mark’s calibre and this has been a direct result of the credibility enhancement and independence resulting from the MBO.
"We are now independent and getting credibility from external investors so we are looking for some more like-minded senior people to take up client-facing roles."
