Swiss banking group SYZ has appointed Katia Coudray as CEO of SYZ Asset Management, the firm’s institutional asset management arm.

Coudray will also be a member of the group’s executive committee.

She served as head of investment at SYZ Asset Management, after joining SYZ in 2011 in the role of product development head.

Prior to SYZ, she served at Union Bancaire Privee (UBP) in Geneva for 10 years.

At UBP, she served as a member of the asset management executive committee and a member of the committee responsible for defining the group’s investments.

Additionally, SYZ Asset Management also recruited Florent Guy-Ducrot as business development head.

Guy-Ducrot, who is a member of SYZ Asset Management’s executive committee, will play an integral part in implementing the group’s growth strategy.

Guy-Ducrot will replace Xavier Guillon on 1 September 2015.

In a 18-year long financial career, Guy-Ducrot served stints as head of sales & distribution in several large asset management firms, including HSBC and Credit Agricole (now Amundi), responsible for defining the marketing and sales strategy for international clients.

SYZ Asset Management manages the group’s OYSTER funds along with other mandates.
