Swiss lender PKB has appointed Giovanni Castellino the new head of asset management in Italy, effective 1 January 2015.
Castellino, who has several years of international experience and extensive knowledge of the Italian market, will join PKB from Eurizon Capital.

In his new role, Castellino will be responsible for coordinating the strategic activities of PKB and Cassa Lombarda, both part of the Luxembourg-based holding company COFI Group.
The latest appointment comes on the heels of the recent establishment and licencing of PKB Servizi Fiduciari, the group’s fiduciary company.
