Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former chief of International Monetary Fund (IMF), seeks to raise US$2 billion for LSK & Partners’ macro hedge fund – DSK Global Investment Fund.
Strauss-Kahn will manage the fund with his daughter and economist, Vanessa Strauss-Kahn.

The DSK Global Investment Fund is expected to invest globally, following the regulatory approval from Luxemburg for raising capital.
Strauss-Kahn is currently in talks with institutional investors and wealthy individuals in China to raise capital.
LSK & Partners’ COO Mohamad Zeidan was quoted by Reuters as saying, "China plays and will play a predominant role in this fund.
"We have met with the largest groups in each sector and I’m talking to the financial sector, insurance companies, bankers, financial groups, private and public."
