Stifel, Nicolaus & Company has hired financial advisers Michael Wallace and Todd Belfiore to establish a new Private Client Group office in Tampa, Florida.
The Tampa office is the firm’s third new office in Florida in the last seven months and its 16th Private Client Group office in the state. Stifel also maintains an institutional taxable sales and trading office in Tampa.

Wallace and Belfiore come to Stifel from UBS Financial Services, where they were responsible for $179 million in client assets.
They will each hold the title of senior vice president/investments, and Wallace will serve as branch manager of the new office, the firm said in a statement.
