Steward Partners Global Advisory, an independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services, has appointed a former Wells Fargo team to set up its new office in Newtown, Connecticut.

The team previously managed $500m in assets and consists of brothers John and Cary Kortze as well as Michele Ingram and Amy Nimer.

Steward Partners’ new location marks the firm’s first office in Connecticut and its sixteenth across the nation.

Earlier this year, the firm launched new offices in Richmond and Houston. Its other offices are located in Albany, Andover, Boston, Baltimore and Bethesda, Clearwater, Keene, Manchester, Portsmouth, Paramus, New York City and Washington, D.C.
