State Street Global Markets, the investment research and trading arm of State Street, has appointed Steve Webster as head of business development and relationship management EMEA for their portfolio solutions business.
In his new role, Webster will report to John Minderides, head of EMEA business, and Peter Weiner, global head of business development.

He will be responsible for managing the portfolio solutions’ business development, supporting new business, relationship management and client service.
Webster will also manage a team of investment professionals covering transition management and exposure solutions, State Street’s interim management services.
Webster joined the firm from Credit Suisse Securities where he was head of transition management in EMEA.
Minderides said: "Steve has a proven track record in the management, development and marketing of portfolio solutions within banking and custody organisations."
