State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the asset management arm of State Street, has recruited Bobby Eng to the newly created role of head of SPDR ETF Business Development in Canada.
Eng most recently served as senior vice president and head of sales at First Trust Portfolios Canada.

Before joining First Trust, he served at Barclays Global Investors and Blackrock for eight years, where he managed business development of iShares ETFs in Canada.
SSGA head of Asset Owner ETF Sales Robert Trumbull said: "Bobby’s experience and the depth of his knowledge and relationships across the Canadian ETF landscape are a valuable addition to our institutional ETF efforts."
SPDR ETFs are managed by State Street’s wholly-owned subsidiary SSGA Funds Management, and covers a range of international and domestic asset classes.
