Stanhope Capital, a global investment office, has hired Christophe Karpiel as its head of investment management in Geneva effective July 1, 2014, Hazel Biegelsen reports.

Karpiel will report to Nicole Curti, partner and managing director of Stanhope Capital Switzerland.

Karpiel has 20 years experience working with HNWIs, including acting as deputy head of UHNW portfolio management at BNP Paribas Asset Management in Paris from 2005 to 2014, and senior portfolio manager and head of fund picking at IXIS Asset Management in Paris from 1998 to 2005. Karpiel earned his Masters in Management, Finance, and Economics from EDHEC Business School in 1985.
