Stanhope Capital, a global investment firm managing $8.5 billion on behalf of wealthy families, charities and other institutions, has appointed David Nolan and Jonathan Overland to its Channel Islands team.

Nolan and Overland will join the private investment office as a partnership to support the development of its business on the islands.

The pair currently serves as directors of Stanhope Capital’s holding company.

Prior to joining Stanhope, Nolan and Overland served as principal partners of Ivey Cox Consulting, set up in Jersey in 2007.

Daniel Pinto, chief executive and co-founder of Stanhope, said: ‘Stanhope Capital has been active in managing portfolios for Channel Islands trust companies since the firm was founded in 2004.
