Standard Life Investments (SLI) has unveiled a new high version of its 20 billion global focused strategies fund.
The new SLI Global Focused Strategies (GFS) fund will managed by David Sol and Neil Richardson.

The fund will be available for institutional investors, including discretionary managers and high net worth investors.
The new fund, which is structured as a Luxembourg SICAV, was launched in December last year seeded with initial seed capital of 110 million and has a flat fee of 1.2% a year.
The GSF fund that will be overseen by head of multi-asset Guy Stern will follow similar team, investment platform and risk management skills as the 20 billion GARS fund.
The fund will be able to invest across all major asset classes and all corporate capital structures in addition to using extensive derivatives for alpha generation and risk mitigation purposes.
