Standard Chartered has appointed Sanjeeb Chaudhuri to the newly created role of its brand head and chief marketing officer.

This appointment will be effective from April 1 this year.

In his new role, Chaudhuri will be responsible for all brand and marketing teams across the group, and for developing a singular, cohesive brand strategy.

He will also spearhead the recently announced integration of its wholesale and consumer banking businesses.

Chaudhuri will be report to Tracy Clarke, director of compliance, people and communications at Standard Chartered.

Currently, Chaudhuri serves as Standard Chartered Bank’s regional head for South Asia and chief marketing officer for the consumer banking division.
