Standard Bank has decided to rebrand Standard Bank Private Clients, its Jersey-based private clients arm, as Standard Bank Wealth and Investment.
Deon de Klerk, head of wealth and investment for Africa and international, said: "The name change is a reflection of our shift in strategy to provide more holistic financial planning and advisory solutions around wealth creation, lifestyle requirements, wealth preservation and legacy and philanthropic ambitions.

Standard Bank Private Clients was created seven years ago to meet wealth management needs of clients with investable assets in excess of $1m.
At present, the business manages over $12bn in assets across the globe.
