Standard Chartered has unveiled an array of management changes in a business reshuffle, along with the departure of its CEO for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas Viswanathan Shankar.
Shankar, who served for 13 years at the bank, will step down at the end of April. Following the resignation, he will look at setting up a private equity firm.

Additionally, the bank has named Jonathan Paul as its new head of financial markets, and Sumit Dayal as head of corporate finance.
Paul has 25 years experience at financial firms including Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs, as well as founded hedge fund Ardmore Park Capital in 2008.
Dayal served at Standard Chartered for 11 years, which includes head of leveraged finance and equity capital markets.
Both Paul and Dayal will be based in Singapore in their new role.
