SSARIS Advisors, an affiliate of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), has hired Paul Lucek as new chief executive, with effect from 1 January 2014.
Lucek will be replacing Mark Rosenberg, who will leave from the firm at the end of this year.

Apart from his new role, Lucek will continue to manage his current responsibilities as chief investment officer of SSARIS’ hedge fund group.
Additionally, the firm has appointed Rob Covino as new president of SSARIS, besides his current responsibilities as head of business development.
Lucek and Rob have been serving the firm from nearly 20 years with extensive knowledge about the firm’s investment process and the client base.
So as to allow for a smooth transition of leadership, as well as providing investment expertise and strategic advice, Scott Powers, SSgA President and CEO and Mark will remain on as co-chairman of the SSARIS Board of Directors through 2014.
