Société Générale Private Banking (SGPB) has launched a new
offering for UHNW entrepreneurs who have a holding company or
a family office, integrating the services of its investment and
private banking teams.
The new unit, Private Investment Banking, will
provide management services for the private wealth and the
businesses of clients.

Services will include financing solutions,
merger and acquisitions advisory, capital increases and initial
public offerings as well as dedicated portfolio management teams,
investment products and direct access to capital markets.
It will be led by Galeazzo Pecori Giraldi, who
will also continue in his role as deputy chairman of the group’s
investment banking committee and bring his knowledge of investment
banking to the team.
He will lead a group of senior bankers and
account managers in Europe and the Middle East, and the team will
be supported by the group’s international network, SGPB said.
Giraldi joined Société Générale in 2010,
having previously been CEO of Morgan Stanley in Italy and
Switzerland, and deputy chairman of Morgan Stanley Europe.
