The SMSF Association has joined forces with Australian stockbroking and wealth management firm Morgans Financial to improve professional standards in the SMSF industry.
The two parties have agreed to collaborate on providing various education, training and accreditation offerings on SMSFs for 500 advisors of Morgans Financial.

The partnership with SMSF will allow advisors of Morgans Financial to participate in the SMSF Specialist Advisor Pathway program or the SMSF Practitioner Pathway program. In addition, Morgans Financial advisors will also be able to participate at the SMSF Association National as well as State Technical conferences.
SMSF Association managing director/CEO Andrea Slattery said: "This is an exciting development for the SMSF sector. Morgans understands the importance of the SMSF market to its business, and is prepared to invest resources to ensure its advisors have the expertise to be able to better service their SMSF clients. With the SMSF sector growing rapidly, we believe this agreement is a natural progression for those Morgans advisers wishing to improve their knowledge and professionalism."
Moreover, the two parties have also agreed to collaborate on other initiatives that will enhance the professionalism of the SMSF sector.
