Unit linked funds provider Skandia Vita will distribute the funds of AllianceBernstein’s in Italy, as part of an agreement signed between the two companies.
The Luxembourg domiciled funds will be distributed to Skandia’s network of over 25 financial advisers, 15 regional banks and independent brokers and insurance agents in Italy, through its unit-linked investment platform.

Skandia’s funds are largely used by investors having retirement and wealth plans.
Investment Europe has quoted director of Financial Institutions at AllianceBernstein in Italy Massimo Dalla Vedova as saying, "This agreement with Skandia Vita represents further progress in our strategy to grow our presence in the Italian retail market.
"Being on Skandia’s platform provides financial advisors with another important channel to access AllianceBernstein’s funds for their clients; especially for those who want to include these as part of a unit-linked insurance portfolio."
