Skandia, part of Old Mutual Wealth, has appointed Scott Goodsir as new managing director for UK distribution, effective March 2014.
In his new role, Goodsir will be responsible for the sales and distribution of all Skandia products into the UK, including the platform, protection products, investment solutions and offshore bonds.

Goodsir will report to Steven Levin, managing director and head of global distribution for Old Mutual Wealth, including Skandia.
Most recently, Goodsir served as managing director of UK wholesale at BNY Mellon. Previously he also served various sales roles within Newton Investment Management and Mellon Global Investments.
Commenting on the appointment, Steven Levin said: "We are focused on growing quickly into one of the leading investment businesses in the market, and Goodsir’s experience will help us achieve that.
