SimCorp, a provider of software solutions to the global financial services industry, has announced that the legal name of Equipos — recently acquired by SimCorp — is now SimCorp Coric.
The firm’s name has changed to SimCorp Coric Incorporated in North America and SimCorp Coric Limited in the UK.

Georg Hetrodt, chief technology officer at SimCorp said, "The team has built an impressive reputation with the Coric name over many years, so it was logical to retain this brand equity moving forward.
"With the acquisition, our clients will enjoy tighter integration of SimCorp Coric into the SimCorp Dimension portfolio of solutions. In turn, SimCorp Coric’s existing clients will benefit from stable and substantial investments in R&D, as well as the considerable service and support resources that SimCorp has to offer."
Equipos was acquired by SimCorp effective as of 1 March 2014. Prior to this date, SimCorp held 20% of the shares in the company.
