SimCorp, a Denmark-based provider of investment management solutions, has named Peter Hill as new managing director of UK, Ireland & Middle East division, replacing Klaus Andersen.

Based in London, Hill will be responsible for the growth of SimCorp’s business in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East.

Previously, Hill has served as managing director, SimCorp Asia Pacific since 2006, where he wasx responsible for the company’s expansion in Australian and Asian markets specifically focusing on client satisfaction and development of the business.

Hill has joined SimCorp Fiserv Asia Pacific where he served as managing director. Prior to this, he worked with IBM Australia for 18 years in several sales and management roles including general manager for finance and insurance industries for Australia and New Zealand.

Meantime, Andersen who has led SimCorp’s London-based business since 2008 has assumed his new role as managing director for SimCorp’s wholly owned subsidiary company, Equipos.

Hill said: "My goal is to build on this success, attracting new clients, and strengthening our existing relationships, while also evolving the local support for SimCorp Dimension to best enable our clients to build their business in a cost effective and low risk manner."
