UK’s Signia Wealth has rehired its former executives Carnegie Smyth, Etienne de Merlis and Greg Malone in senior positions.

The trio quit the business last year to form a wealth management firm Squared Investments.

They have returned following the departure of the firm’s chief investment officer (CIO) Chris Godding and investment strategist Gautam Batra.

Smyth, formerly the firm’s director of wealth structuring returns in the role of managing director.

Merlis earlier serving as portfolio manager takes over the role of CIO, while ex-client director Malone is now designated as head of wealth management.

The three of them will be supported by chairman Paul Lester in their new role.
