Société Générale Private Banking (SGPB) has appointed Gonzague de Cerval as its chief executive and commercial director of SGPB in the Middle East.
De Cerval will be based in Dubai and report to Yves Thieffry, CEO of SGPB. He is replacing Eddy Abramo, who has left the group to pursue other opportunities.

Prior to this role, de Cerval was head of the Société Générale representative office in Abu Dhabi. Previously, he held roles in Luxembourg at BNP Paribas and Société Générale Bank & Trust.
