SFG Australia (SFGA) company secretary and CFO Linda Fox, is set to leave the firm to assume a new role with the Commonwealth Bank, effective 11 July 2014.
The move comes two weeks after IOOF proposed an offer to acquire SFGA.

Linda Fox is stepping down from his role at SFGA based on her own career goals. Meantime, she will continue to work on the merger until her departure.
The CFO role will be taken over by Andrew Crowther, effective 10 June, to ensure the smooth completion of its acquisition by IOOF.
Crowther, who is currently the head of the save to invest project at BT Financial, was formerly chief financial officer and general manager at Colonial First State.
Additionally, the firm’s secretary role will be assumed by SFGA head of legal, Jonathan Swain, effective 11 July 2014.
