Recently, Seneca has already renamed the funds it took over in its acquisition of part of the Miton Group.
Additionally, the trust has also changed the investment management fee to 0.65% per annum of market cap above £50 million, effective 1 July 2014.
The trust will be managed by Alan Borrows and Simon Callow alongside their team, who has relocated to Seneca from Miton.
Richard Ramsay, chairman of Miton, said: "To maximise the benefit of these additional resources and to emphasise the trust’s global remit, it is proposed to change the name to Seneca Global Income & Growth Trust."
