Investment firm SEI intends to launch a multi-asset income fund for the UK market.
SEI head of UK and Europe, Kevin Addison, said that the firm is looking up fund seeding for the launch of a Dublin-based mirror of one of the SEI existing US funds, the SEI US multi-asset income fund which was launched in April 2012.

The SEI US multi-asset income fund has assets under management of US$195 million and posted a one-year return of 15.27% as of 12 June 2013, reported by Bloomberg.
Addison said: "We are looking to bring in income proposition. There is huge demand for income type producing assets in the UK."
