She has replaced Robert Plaze, who has now become the deputy director of the division. Blizzard has been a member of the Division of Investment Management staff for 12 years and served as the managing executive most recently.
Previously, she has held several policy roles, including as senior adviser to the director and as head of the Office of Regulatory Policy, one of the Division’s rulemaking offices she will now lead.
She was also a counsel to an affiliate of the Investment Company Institute.
