Scotiabank has announced the appointment of Nora Aufreiter as a new member of the bank’s Board of Directors.
Aufreiter joined Scotiabank from McKinsey & Company, where he worked as director.

Aufreiter served as managing partner of the Toronto office of McKinsey’s Canadian practice from 2008 until 2012. She also served on McKinsey’s global personnel committees and led the North American Retail Practice, the North American Branding and Marketing Organization Service Lines.
Prior to this, Aufreiter spent 3 years in financial services working in corporate finance and investment banking.
Aufreiter is also a member of the Board of Directors of Cadillac Fairview Corporation and Neiman Marcus Group.
