Earlier this month, the company completed the rebranding of its Hong Kong office and is now set to rename its Singapore unit the next month.

The UK and Channel Islands, where the wealth management business has the largest presence, will however retain the Cazenove Capital brand.

Schroders global head of wealth management Andrew Ross said: “Schroders is a well-known and respected brand under which to develop our wealth management and private banking business in Asia. We have a unique offering in the market and this combined with the Schroders brand strength will be key to our next stage of growth.”

Schroders Wealth Management, with offices in Europe and Asia, oversaw $56.6bn in global assets for private clients as well as charities as at 30 June 2017.
