Schroders Multi-Asset Investments and Portfolio Solutions business has appointed Ugo Montrucchio as its new portfolio manager on its multi-asset team based in London, with effect from January 2014.
Schroders Multi-Asset Investments and Portfolio Solutions business has been selectively adding resources to strengthen its risk premia based multi-asset approach with more than 40 investment professionals now focused on risk premia research.

Montrucchio has joined Schroders from the BlackRock Multi-asset Group where he served as a director and a lead portfolio manager for its diversified growth and risk-parity strategies.
Prior to this Montrucchio has also worked as a fixed income investment analyst at Barings Asset Management and senior consultant at Barra International.
