Schroders Investment Management North America has appointed Chris Moran as new head of sub-advisory.

In his new role, Moran will be responsible to expand the firm’s existing sub-advisory client relationships (over $11.8 billion in AUM as of September 30, 2013).

He will also be responsible to generate new mandates by offering Schroders expansive product set to the US Market.

Moran will report to Carter Sims, head of US intermediary distribution at Schroders.

Prior to joining Schroders, Moran most recently served as national sales manager and client advisor for JP Morgan Asset Management. Prior to this he served as the regional vice president of ING Group.

Sims said: "Chris brings to Schroders comprehensive experience in business strategy and execution, along with an extensive knowledge of investment product sales, insurance distribution, investment marketing and sales management.
