Schroders’ former chief investment officer Alan Brown, who currently works as a senior adviser to the UK-listed fund manager, is set to retire from the firm at the end of this month.
Brown, who stepped down from the post of CIO in 2012, joined Schroders in 2005 succeeding Richard Horlick.

He will however, continue to chair investment strategy at the Schroders pension scheme.
Brown earlier served as CIO of State Street Global Advisors, and presently also chairs the Carbon Disclosure Project.
