Schroders has bolstered its multi-asset investment and portfolio solutions (MAPS) team by hiring Chris Hsia as product manager and Mei Huang as quantitative analyst.

Hsia in his new role will be responsible for developing product-led communication strategies. He will report to Henriette Bergh, head of UK and European product and manager solutions.

Most recently he was chief investment officer for Morgan Stanley’s Swiss private banking unit, Bank Morgan Stanley AG.

Huang’s responsibilities will involve researching and constructing advanced beta equity strategies. He previously worked as a quantitative analyst at HSBC Asset Management.

He will report to Peter Weidner, head of Advanced Beta, multi-asset quantitative research.
