Saxo Bank, a Danish-based online trading and investment specialist, has named Matteo Cassina as new global head of institutional business as part of the firm’s aggressive growth strategy.
Based in London, Cassina will report to the co-CEOs and co-founders of the bank, Kim Fournais and Lars Seier Christensen.

Cassina move marks an important step in Saxo Bank’s strategy to continue its rapid growth within the institutional space.
Prior to joining Saxo, Cassina most recently served as president of Citadel Execution Services. Earlier to this, he also served as the head of prime access SM for Goldman Sachs and head of total trader for Merrill Lynch.
