Santander Asset Management (Santander AM) has promoted Gonzalo Milans Del Bosch to the role of global CIO.
Bosch replaces Dolores Ybarra, who held the position since 2011. Ybarra has now been appointed as the global head of products.

Prior to assuming the new role, Bosch has been responsible for the investment division of Banco Santander.
In September 2017, Santander created a new global wealth management division by integrating its private banking and asset management businesses.
The move followed the repurchase of the entire Santander Asset Management business in November 2016.
Santander Private Banking manages over €160bn in customer funds, some of which are managed within the €180bn of assets under management in Santander Asset Management.
