Sanlam UK, part of South African financial services group Sanlam, has named John Pyburn as its new head of UK distribution.
Pyburn will take up the new role on 13 September 2017, with responsibility for developing the firm’s distribution strategy and capability.

He will focus on supporting the delivery of the firm’s proposition to advisers within its partnership programme Sanlam Partners launched earlier in 2017.
Pyburn most recently served as the director of intermediary sales at Just Retirement, a position he held for eight years.
He previously also had stints at State Street Global Advisors, Canada Life, Abbey for Intermediaries (now Santander).
