Sanlam Securities UK has named Adrian Kearsey as new head of small cap research.
In his new role, Kearsey will head the existing team at the business, which is the corporate finance and broking unit of Sanlam Private Investments.

Aditionally, he will also be responsible for expanding the small cap research department as well as increasing its coverage of small cap companies and the business services sector.
Prior to joining Sanlam, Kearsey worked with Hardman Research as a research analyst and specialist in the support services sector. Previously, he has also worked at firms such as Evolution Securities, Quilter, Mercury Asset Management and JM Finn.
Sanlam Private Investments CEO Craig Massey said, "The expansion of the discretionary and wealth management part of our business is well under way, but we also have growth plans for Sanlam Securities UK, as it complements perfectly our existing businesses and provides great synergies within the larger group."
